Lowdjo started out spinning vinyl some years ago and does not limit himself to one genre,
making him one of the most eklektik dj's in Belgium.
Expanding his view on music over the years -
next to electronics like elektro, jungle, breakcore, techno, hardcore,
dubstep, grime and many other (mutant) genres, he also has a big collection
of (free)jazz, postrock, ambient, ragga, psychedelica, noise, droons,
psychfolk, postpunk, free rock and even balkan-tunes.

Lowdjo played together with many belgian and international artists
at different places throughout Europe
(Germany, Italy, Spain, Slovenia, Netherlands, Belgium) and the States (Chicago).
Some people saw him playing atmospheric sounds at chill outs,
photo exhibitions or art spaces, others where bombed with beats at underground parties.
You name it Lowdjo spins it! ... or as the king of ultraviolence 'Antz' once said:
"Lowdjo imposes his octopus-like musical tastes on the turntables:
minimal electronica, avant-rock, hardcore, Balkan music and a lot more
are turned into a seamless mix, aimed at the dancefloor.
Those who sit still during his set must have had their legs amputated".

Next to performing by himself he's also part of a new Faux-Ton-project
called "The Ghost in the Apartment".
This is the collaboration between Peter Van Hoesen (aka object, vanno, sendai),
marc roesems (aka individual, ultraphonist, silk saw) and Lowdjo.
Their live sets are 100% improvised,
combining turntables and samplers to build an intense full-frequency wall of sound,
where every artist focuses on a specific frequency range.

Every week there are two live radioshows where you can always here some old and fresh tunes selected by Lowdjo.
